Terms of Service

Welcome to IslandLive, owned and operated by Revington Corporations (Pvt) Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

IslandLiveis an event discovery and listing site. We list events across Sri Lanka and point visitors to each event's official seller — the organiser's own ticketing site, a WhatsApp contact, free entry, or pay at the door. We are not the seller of tickets: we do not process ticket payments, issue tickets, or handle entry. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the organiser or their ticketing provider, governed by their terms.

2. Getting tickets

  • Tickets are bought directly from the official seller linked on each event page. We do not take payment for tickets and never see or store your card details.
  • Prices, availability, ticket delivery and entry are set and handled by the seller, not by IslandLive.
  • Browsing and searching IslandLive is free. We do not add a booking fee to your ticket purchase.

3. Event changes and cancellations

Event details (date, time, venue, line-up) are set by organisers and may change. Refunds, cancellations and rescheduled events are handled by the seller you bought from under their own policy; IslandLive does not sell tickets and cannot issue refunds.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently.

5. Liability

IslandLive acts as a listing and discovery service only. The tickets, the sale and the event experience are the responsibility of the organiser and their ticketing provider. To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, IslandLive is not liable for losses arising from a purchase you make through a third-party seller or from attending an event.

6. Organisers and listing fees

Organisers who publish an event pay a flat one-time listing fee per event, charged in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) through PayHere. This fee is solely for listing the event on IslandLive — it is not a ticket sale, and IslandLivetakes no commission on an organiser's ticket revenue. Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for selling and fulfilling tickets through their own seller.

7. Advertising

Some pages display third-party advertisements served by Google. IslandLive does not endorse the products or services advertised; ad content is controlled by Google and the respective advertisers.
